1. Both my hubby and I have RLS (restless leg syndrome). I was
doing nightly soaks in the tub, gives me ME time and reading time, but also helps with my fibromyalgia and to sleep. I
use Marjoram and/or (for pain), and either Petitgrain or Lavender (to help me sleep). Ok, so I didn't take my soaks for 5
days and noticed my legs were acting up - so not only does it help with fibro, but also with RLS! Now my hubby wont take a
soak, unless he's sick, so I had him rub some of the Lavender Soothing Gel on his legs - and it works! I tried it on mine
the other night too when they were really bad and woke me up and not olny did it relax the creepy crawlies (if you have RLS
you'll know what I mean), but also made me fall asleep in under 5 mins!
2. My son (17) told me yesterday he has an ear infection (always
got them when he was little too). It was around 4:00 and he said he could wait until tomorrow to go to the dr, so in the mean
time I looked in the Very Essence Guide Book under ear ache. Only having Lavender, we put a few drops on a cotton ball and
put it in his ear like is suggests in the book (I keep a bottle of oil with Lavender and Tea Tree on hand and that's what
we used), He kept it in there for about 2 hrs and now the ear infection is gone! He was telling everyone last night "this
stuff really works!" M. Burger
